How do I sign up?
Step 1: M-Trader is free. You are required to have a POEMS Futures.FX account. If you do not, open a POEMS Futures.FX account with Phillip Futures.
Step 2: M-Trader is a Java J2ME application meant for mobile handsets. It supports most mobile handsets which allow installation and execution of Java J2ME applications. While using M-Trader, it is recommended to have a data package with your local telco (ie. SingTel, StarHub or M1 in Singapore):
Minimum mobile phone requirements:
- J2ME profile: MIDP 2.0, CLDC 1.1
- Screen display resolution: 176 x 208 pixels and above
Step 3: Register for an M-trader account through POEMS.Futures.FX or print the application form and fax it to 6536 7367.
Step 4: Ensure you have a valid email address and mobile number updated in POEMS. Once we have processed your application, you will receive your M-Trader account and details to download M-Trader via email.
Please note that application for M-trader will only be approved upon the successful opening of a futures account with Phillip Futures.
