Key Updates to SGX Contracts

Contract specifications of selected SGX contracts will be amended to state that SGX may determine an alternate Last Trading Day (LTD) upon prior notice to the market and if the need arises. The amendment takes effect from Monday, 15 June 2020.

SGX will be delisting the following 13 MSCI contracts with effect from Monday, 1 February 2021. From Tuesday, 2 February 2021, customers will only be able to liquidate their positions on these contracts. You may, however, continue to trade the SGX MSCI Singapore Free Index Futures and Options.

2) SGX MSCI CHINA FREE NET TOTAL RETURN USD INDEX (NCH)
3) SGX MSCI EMERGING MARKETS (USD) INDEX (EM)
4) SGX MSCI INDIA INDEX (MD)
5) SGX MSCI INDIA NET TOTAL RETURN USD INDEX (NMD)
6) SGX MSCI INDONESIA STOCK INDEX (ID)
7) SGX MSCI MALAYSIA INDEX (MY)
8) SGX MSCI PHILIPPINES INDEX (PH)
9) SGX MSCI TAIWAN NET TOTAL RETURN USD INDEX (NTW)
10) SGX MSCI TAIWAN STOCK INDEX (TW)
11) SGX MSCI THAILAND INDEX (TH)
12) SGX MSCI VIETNAM INDEX (VN)
13) SGX MSCI VIETNAM NET TOTAL RETURN (USD) INDEX (NVM)

New MSCI contracts will be offered by HKEX in 2020, you will receive more details closer to the launch.
